Services

Pourvoirie Mitchinamecus is a member of the Fédération des Pourvoiries du Québec and offers facilities and services that meet its standards. Periodically, the FPQ inspects the facilities of its members, evaluates them and awards them a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Tourism. The facilities have a three-star rating.

All cottages are equipped with a propane gas stove and a refrigerator powered by solar panels. Cottages that can accommodate eight people or more are equipped with two refrigerators. The lighting is solar powered and all cottages located more than three kilometers from the reception are equipped with a radio communication system with the outfitter's reception office.

In addition to being equipped with basic safety items, the outfitter is a member of Air Medic and has its own heliport at kilometer 119, on Chemin de Parent. All clients and staff of the outfitter are covered by emergency medical aid airlifted on call, and professional care by specialized nurses and paramedics to the nearest hospital.
